The Challenge

Young brand - Finleap connect was a new brand coming out of an internal merger of 2 companies. Many candidates had never heard about it, so our goal was to educate them.

Difficult product - Unlike many companies like N26 or Zalando where the concept of the product is super easy to explain, finleapConnect is a complex Saas / PaaS software. This made selling to our candidates much more complex.

High targets - the goal for us at the beginning was to hire 50+ software engineers in a very limited timeframe.

Our solution

Young brand - we partnered with a local employer branding specialist to draft a comprehensive job description that was inclusive and candidate focused. After a month we received 112 CVs which resulted in a single hire.

Difficult product - through a series of workshops with our team plus additional 1-1s with the client we always ensured that our recruiters were on the same wavelength with our in-house recruitment team.

High Targets - we deployed a sourcing squad of 2 specialists to target all the fintech companies in Europe, which allowed us to bring qualified candidates every day.
